Job Description for Mobile Applications Developer

Description:
This role requires design and implementation of new features and
product enhancements related to apps made by the company for iOS
based smartphones and tablets. Candidate will be involved in end-to-end delivery of
the feature(s), from gathering of user requirements to quality testing and sign off.
Once the product is ready for use on the iOS platform, the candidate will also be
required for porting the product on other platforms like Android and Windows Mobile

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Gathering of feature requirements from relevant parties and creation of design
and implementation plan
 Performing research and feasibility study on suggested areas
 Necessary development in Java, Objective C, C# to achieve desired results
 Component testing of developed features and product enhancements
 Coordination with testing team for overall product testing of developed
changes

Skills required:

 Solid understanding of Android environment and Android programming concepts
 Intermediate understanding of other mobile platforms (iOS, Windows Mobile)
 Solid understanding of Java, Objective C, C# and object-oriented programming
concepts
 Knowledge of working with embedded databases and SQL
 Experience with using programming IDEs and code management tools
 Experience with multithreading and concurrency management
 Understanding of component testing frameworks in Android and other
platforms
 Understanding of data interchange formats like JSON, XML
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
