Job Description

• Drive and position SmartLender as the leading provider and thought leader for Lending Platforms. Key elements:
• Understand customer and prospect requirements & aspirations and leverage this to enhance the Product functionality and Roadmap with the objective of making SmartLender a world class lending platform
• Be an internal and external Consultant/Industry expert. Propagate the SmartLender brand as a Thought Leader in this space
• Execute and Drive the Pre Sales process to position SmartLender’s platform as the best fit for customers/prospects Requirements. Be a key pillar to close deals and help in Solution selling.
• Groom and mentor Business Analysts. Create and instil a strong knowledge base and understanding of Lending Platforms across the company.
• Areas of focus to be either in Retail Lending or Commercial Lending domain for loan approval and processing, with good understanding of post approval processes (i.e. documentation, collateral perfection, custodian) and back-office operations

Qualifications

• Good general appreciation of IT preferred and working knowledge of software engineering principles and practices will be added advantage
• 10 + years in Product Management/Pre Sales for Lending Platforms and/or Retail/Commercial Lending – Mandatory.
• Good working knowledge of Basel to translate Basel requirements and able requirements into functional capabilities
• Provide thought leadership in Retail/Commercial Lending space
• Ability to work independently
• Good working knowledge of loan origination, central liability, credit admin process, credit policy, risk and audit, portfolio management, retail/ commercial/ wholesale banking, credit planning/ performance and quality review,
• Organizational agility: Is able to push internal stakeholders in the interest of Customer Satisfaction
