Job Description – Solution Architect (Cloud)

Role & Responsibilities:

This is a lead level product management position. We are looking for a Solution Architect
who can lead Lifecycle management of Openstack based Cloud platform that client is
planning to deploy for internal Government Business Units. This person would have the
end-to-end ownership and shall be responsible for planning, development throughout the
product lifecycle. The role encompasses developing the product roadmap, defining the
product vision, gathering business requirements and working closely with respective
stakeholders to ensure delivery in line with the roadmap and client's goals.

Key responsibilities:
➢ Define the product strategy and roadmap for Openstack based Cloud product and
take ownership of their delivery.
➢ Interface with the Vendor’s Engineering and Development teams to ensure
successful delivery and product enhancements.
➢ Define the Release cycles for the product delivery using Agile based methodology.
➢ Create the product requirement documents for the Roadmap planned.
➢ Direct the Vendor’s Engineering and Development teams on the CI/CD processes
➢ Interface with the client's management team & other stakeholders to gather the technical
and business requirements.
➢ Be an expert with respect to competitor products and services and strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the market.
➢ Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision.
➢ Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the Openstack Cloud based technology solutions.

Education & Experience:
➢ 8+ years of previous experience as a Product Manager (preferably in a SaaS
company delivering B2B solutions). 10+ years of total experience.
➢ Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
➢ Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred, but not a requirement)
➢ Knowledge and experience in developing a similar cloud based product (IAAS, SAAS
and or PAAS)
