Job Summary:
·         Responsible to ensure solutions are identified and implemented for the functional requirements while also supporting the junior team members to fast track resolutions on technical issues.
·         Responsible to comply with standard system environment set up, software development tools and application design for the development activities
·         Responsible to implement and support the improvement plans identified for the design and development activities
·         Responsible to coordinate with the Technical Leads, Architects and project team members to align with the design and development plans and standard procedures established
Essential Functions of the Job:
·         Analyse the functional requirements and software implementation planned to ensure in-depth understanding of the detailed design and source code deliverables
·         Create the design, source code, unit test and functional test deliverables per requirements, plan and standard procedures established
·         Ensure the review of all deliverables are coordinated and corrective actions required for fixing any comments are addressed timely
·         Provide feedback and comments on the estimated efforts, schedule and size for the implementation
·         Sup[port technical lead and project team members to achieve project plans and share all relevant information to achieve the progress sand improvement plans
Qualification:
·         Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a software development or maintenance activities
·         Good knowledge of JAVA, SOAP, XML, WSDL, OOA and OOD Concepts
·         Hand’s on experience of JAVA/J2EE/EJB,SQL coding, JUNIT
·         Experience in integration technologies like web services, SOAP, RESTful, JSF
·         Hand’s on experience of Eclipse IDE Source control tools like Maven is highly preferred
·         Understanding of design patterns, design models and application frameworks
·         Experience in Airline domain / Passenger Reservation Systems is an advantage
